Finding neutral spine!
Remember when exercising to keep your spine in the right position to prevent injury and to ensure the muscles you are wanting to work are actually doing the work and not getting some sneaky support from your spine.
The easiest way to do this is to bring your shoulders up, back then down, It's also the quickest way to lose "visible" weight.
To learn how to flex your hips, lay on the floor and try to get your lower back flat against the floor then make a curve which you should be able to get your hand under when it's an open palm, bigger then your fist then you need to pull it back a bit big boy!
So in other words you won't be thinner with better posture but people looking at you will think you have!

No weights? No worries!
Don't have dumbbells? Don't worry!
If you are just starting out you can always use bottles of water, tins of beans or even heavy books.
Try not to do your hammer curls with your beans in the supermarket though, might get some funny looks!

Rest is for the Weak?
Rest is for the weak?
You need to rest properly to enable your muscles to repair and grow, give yourself at least 24hrs rest for the muscle group you have worked.
So legs one day then chest and arms another instead of the usual routine of chest and arms followed by a day of chest and arms followed by another day of chest and arms!
I've seen you hiding those skinny little legs boy!
